Pesto`s journey hasn`t been easy – he came to the shelter as a young pup and endured a long stay in the ICU due to a leg injury. But today, he`s healed and ready to catch up on all of the puppy education he missed out on. Pesto thrives on physical activity. Whether it`s running, walking, or hiking, he`s happiest when he`s on the move. With his sharp intellect and love for mental stimulation, we`re confident that Pesto would excel in agility courses. Bonus, he’s already mastered “sit” and “shake”!This outdoorsy pup needs a fenced yard as he prefers being outdside. Pesto is non reactive on a leash and has even done well with the hustle and bustle of weekend walks on town lake trail, and roller blading adventures through Mueller. We think with some practice Pesto could even be a paddle board pro. Pesto`s perfect match would be patient, confident, and assertive- someone who can provide him with the discipline and guidance he has never gotten. An active lifestyle is a must. For now, Pesto would thrive best in an adult-only home without other pets.
